All participants in the tournament are all bound by several rules which are enforced by the ruler class servants who were summoned by the grail. They are special servants who enforce the rules of the tournament. Breaking any of these rules would mean having the overseers of this tournament to hunt you down and would likely either kill you or your servant. This is to say, you may still compete for the grail, it just means you have
1. The first being if one wishes to surrender themselves in the tournament. The said contestant for the grail may relinquish their command seals and will be under the protection of the Ruler Class Servants.
2. Any other master or servant who tries to attack those who are under protection of the rulers is forbidden.
3. Although Servants are spirit based life forms, they may eat and sleep in their physical state to keep up their strength. They also have the ability to harvest souls of living beings by killing them. The harvesting of even one human soul is forbidden.
4. The details of this tournament must not be aware to the public.
5. Trying to kill another servant and master in a public place is strictly forbidden as the lives of the innocent maybe in jeopardy.
6. Do not try and take pr reproduce the grail in any shape or form before the tournament is over
7.If an outsider civilian has seen the power of a servant or a battle, they must be killed or have their memory altered in some shape or form.
